We invite you to look over our web site and explore the various programs C.I.S.D.'s alternative school has to offer. Several programs are housed at the Midway campus. Alternative education classes, G.E.D. Classes, and Nova Net/Grad Point classes are a few examples of what we offer.
Midway is a school of choice. It provides an opportunity for students to complete required course work necessary for high school graduation. Students submit a completed application for consideration of admittance. Enrollment is relatively small and the number of applicants could exceed the number of available spaces. Midway is an extension of CISD's two other high schools. Once students complete all graduation requirements, their records are sent back to their home campuse from which they will receive their diploma. Graduating seniors have the right to return to thier home campus to take part in all graduation activities.

Discipline Alternative Education Program (D.A.E.P.) classes are also located on the Midway campus. Dress code for D.A.E.P. students will be in effect beginning the first day of classes. See the DAEP tab for the dress code guidelines and procedures.
The Youth Center of the High Plains is a Juvenile Residential Detention Center. The Center provides placement for juveniles of the panhandle of Texas with few placements from southern Texas.
