     Some advice: keep the flame of curiosity and wonderment alive, even when studying for boring exams. That is the well from which we scientists draw our nourishment and energy. And also, learn the math. Math is the language of nature, so we have to learn this language.

    Mr. Roberts graduated from WTAMU in 2008 with certifications to teach high school math and physics.  He started teaching at Canyon High School in 2009 after completing his first year of teaching at Brownfield High School.  He has been leading the Canyon High Engineering Club and the Science Bowl teams since 2015, and always looks forward to helping students pursue their interests in the STEM fields. 
    Mr. Roberts got married in 2010 and welcomed a baby boy to the family in 2015.  He spends his free time reading comic books, playing board games, and discussing whether this is the year the Cowboys will finally win it all.
