Mrs. Cowan serves as a second grade teacher at Crestview Elementary.  She is beginning her eighteenth year at Crestview and has taught for twenty-two years.  Mrs. Cowan has enjoyed teaching 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade levels in her education career.

   She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in mathematics from Texas Tech University.  She has a GT and ESL Certification.

  Mrs. Cowan and her husband have two children that are both CISD graduates.   She loves spending time with her family.  She also enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking.
