Lakeview Elementary

Home of the Mighty Lion

The wildfires that occurred on 3/23/16

unfortunately took the homes of two of our students.

Thank you to everyone that has dropped off donations for these families!  At this time both families have received enough clothes and toys and are in need of monetary donations to help with in the rebuilding process.

Monetary donations to these families can be made to the following banks:

Bean Family-First United Bank (34th and Osage)

Pender Family-Amarillo Community Federal Credit Union

Thank you for your help!

Lakeview’s Partner Program is a volunteer opportunity that has been molded after the mentor-ship idea that has been successful in many programs across the state. The mentor-ship connections made each week positively affect our student’s self-confidence, basic skills, and social skills, which can make a big difference in student achievement. A mentor does not need any special training, just a desire to help students succeed, to be dependable and to respect confidentiality.
