Red Ribbon & Character Counts Week Schedule

 October 27-31, 2014

 Monday, October 27 – Red Ribbon Kick-off, “I mustache you …Please be Drug Free” Wear a Mustache. Wear Red & Show the Pillar of Caring by SAYING NO TO DRUGS!  

 Tuesday, October 28 – I’m too bright for Drugs ...Wear your sunglasses to school.  Wear Yellow – Be Respectful in all your actions & SAY NO TO DRUGS!

Wednesday, October 29 – Team up against Drugs and wear your favorite team jersey.  Wear Blue jeans & Be Trustworthy.

Thursday, October 30 – Be a Hero and Be Drug Free – Wear your favorite Super Hero Outfit.  Wear Green & Be Responsible for your choices & Say No to Drugs!  Officer Hernandez will be teaching Halloween Safety to PreK at 10:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and Kindergarten Classes during Music Classes 9:10-9:35 a.m. and 9:40-10:10 a.m. 

Friday, October 31 – Hat’s off to being Drug Free  – Donate a dollar and Wear a Hat to help “Tex Randall”.  Wear purple for being a good citizen!  – Red Ribbon Celebration at 8:30 in All-Purpose Room -- Broadway Kids, Mr. Yirak and CHS Theatre Students, CHS Super Team, CHS Cheerleaders and CHS Drum line.

Tobacco Free Amarillo presenting a short program about the dangers of smoking to the 3rd and 4th grade students during Music Classes. ( 3rd Grade -12:50-1:20 p.m., 1:20-1:50 p.m. and 4th Grade – 1:50-2:20 p.m., 2:20-2:50 p.m.)
