CISD MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Canyon Independent School District, in partnership with the home and community, is to expect and provide the highest standards of performance through diverse and nurturing educational experiences.

GOAL STATEMENTS

Student Performance: All students in CISD will receive a quality education through the implementation of a well-balanced curriculum and effective teaching strategies which will challenge them to realize their full learning potential and prepare them for productive lives.

Human Resources Development: CISD will recruit, develop, and retain the most qualified personnel and provide them the opportunity to realize their fullest potential.

Organizational Management: Organizational components, support systems, and the infrastructure of the educational system will be productive, efficient, and accountable in support of CISD's mission.

Community: CISD will involve parents and other members of the community as full and active partners in fulfilling the mission of the District.
