The Communities of
Canyon Independent School
District
Canyon ISD is a school district in the Texas Panhandle
that spans 711 square miles from south of the city of Canyon north into the
southern city limits of Amarillo. Canyon High School and its feeder
schools of Reeves-Hinger Elementary, Crestview Elementary, Canyon
Intermediate
and Canyon Junior High are in the city of Canyon. Randall High School
and its feeder schools of Arden Road Elementary, Sundown Lane Elementary,
Gene Howe Elementary, Lakeview Elementary, Greenways Intermediate, and Westover Park
Junior High are in or close to the southern city limits
of Amarillo. Therefore, the communities that surround our schools
are in both Canyon and Amarillo. To learn more about our proud cultural
