Budget Terms

The basic system code composition consists of nine account code elements containing a total of twenty digits.  Each element has a specific purpose and meaning which is intended to describe, at a minimum level, the source of funds for the transaction, the intent of the transaction, and the nature of the transaction.  Canyon ISD does not use the fiscal year for reporting purposes.  This code structure is graphically represented as follows:
