Canyon ISD is expanding its efforts to provide accurate and timely
information regarding student’s grades, attendance, progress reports, and much
more. This is made possible using CISD’s new Parent Internet Viewer software.
We’re excited about the new capabilities this will give parents and students. We
hope it will be a great asset by providing accurate and real-time information
regarding each student’s instructional progress. *Grades which are recorded as a "Z" reflect that an assignment might be
missing or incomplete. The "Z" is currently averaged in as a zero. However, if
the work is turned in or corrected by the teacher's deadline, the "Z" can be
changed to a numerical grade. The "Z" is a reminder that the student still needs
to turn in the work. If the work is not completed, then the "Z" will remain or a
zero will be averaged. *Grades which are recorded as an "X" reflect that a grade is excused or
exempt. The "X" does not change the average for the six weeks.
