(Must meet ONE of the qualifiers listed below and provide documentation to be eligible for this state-funded program)
- Child is unable to speak and comprehend the English language (school district will test upon enrollment)
- Child is eligible for National School Lunch Program – salary below $57,720 (family of 4) – (bring proof of income)
- Child is homeless
- Child’s parent is a member of the United States Armed Forces on active duty or was injured/killed while on active duty (bring military ID or disability papers)
- Child is or has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services following an adversary hearing under Section 262.201, Family Code – (bring court documents)
- Child is a Star of Texas Award Recipient (children of First Responders killed in the line of duty)
