Canyon ISD Board Approves 2025-2026 Academic Calendar

The Canyon ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-2026 school calendar at the December Board meeting.

The calendar was developed by the District Advisory Council which crafted two options for consideration. After gathering feedback from nearby ISDs and holding a public vote, 68.2% of respondents selected Option 1, which was approved by the Board. 

The first day of school for the 2025-2026 academic year is set for Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.
